Finnish service station chain ABC did a joint promotion with Finnish online media streaming service Ruutu+. Single-use coffee cups featuring Magic Add dynamic identifiers sold at ABC locations all over Finland offered customers a free two-month trial of the on-demand video service.
The promotion entitled customers to advance viewing of popular TV series Vain Elämä. The campaign enticed customers to ABC and provided exposure for Ruutu+. The conversion rate was three times higher than Google Adwords on average.
